After the declaration of the NEET-UG 2022 result, now medical students are waiting for the NEET UG 2022 counselling process to start. As per the latest update, NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2022 may start on 1st October 2022, but it is a tentative date and may change.
To ensure that there is no further delay in NEET counselling 2022 online, the authority has decided to renew the permissions of all medical colleges as the permission will be renewed for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspirants you must know that undergraduate medical seats are divided into state and all India quota based on 85-15 share. So the states will individually start the admission process for medical students as per their instructions. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- UG Result was out on 7th September 2022 and the next step for successful candidates is to apply for admission to medical courses or their preferred colleges through NEET Counselling Schedule 2022 Online. Undergraduate medical seats in India are divided into state and all India quotas in the ratio of 85-15 and for state quota seats, the respective state counselling authorities will conduct the admission process for medical students.
For All India Quota admission, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) is responsible for conducting the NEET UG Counselling 2022 following a similar criterion. You must know that the NEET UG exam was conducted on 17th July 2022, for which more than 18 lakh candidates had registered and about 95 per cent of registered students appeared in the exam.
As per the recent reports the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 counselling process will start in September. As per the media reports, this NEET counselling is expected to start on October 1, 2022. Based on this, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has also allowed medical colleges to renew themselves before the release of NEET results in 2022. MCC.NIC.in NEET UG 2022 registration date
Visit the official website to check NEET Counselling 2022 official notice. But according to the NMC, there may be “random surprise inspections” based on the track record of medical colleges. The NMC informed that the Medical Colleges were further informed that “Random Surprise Inspection may be conducted on the basis of performance of Medical Colleges for the academic year 2022-2023 and decision will be taken on the basis of the inspection report.
The dates for NEET counselling 2022 have been announced by NTA soon. As mentioned earlier, the NEET 2022 counselling process will start in September-October. As per various media reports, NEET counselling 2022 for AIQ seats is expected to start in October 2022. However, there is no official confirmation of this by MCC. NEET 2022 Counselling State Wise
For 15% of AIQ seats, MCC conducts NEET-UG counselling at the central level. For 85% seats, the state authorities conduct the NEET-UG counselling at the state level. The state wise NEET counselling for 2022 has not yet started in any state. In all states and union territories, the admission process is completed online, and counselling is provided by recognized authorities identified by the state government. Both the state and central level NEET counselling 2022 process uses a similar process. However, depending on the number of seats and other factors, different states may have different requirements for the number of rounds for merit list preparation and seat distribution.

NEET UG Counselling NTA Eligibility Criteria
To participate in NEET 2022 counselling, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- To be eligible, they have to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
- They have to sign up on the official website of MCC.
- All applicants can participate in counselling for AIQ seats and designated institutes, including those from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Government of India has established 10% EWS reservation and 27% OBC reservation (Non-Creamy Layer) in 15% of the population. Undergraduate (UG) All India Quota seats (MBBS/BDS) in the selection of applicants through NEET UG counselling for MBBS (contributed by States/UTs in the Central Pool).

Candidates reporting to the allotted institute for seat confirmation must carry the following documents with them.
