Eligibility Criteria for NIT Meghalaya UG admission 

Candidates have to follow the nationwide eligibility criteria for admission in National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya  according to the JoSAA guidelines. If you are also preparing to get admission in the college then you can check the following guidelines and eligibility in this section:

• Candidates who qualify JEE Mains examination are only eligible to apply for the NIT Meghalaya UG Admission 2025.
• JoSAA is offering admission in engineering colleges in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs (Triple-I-Ts) and other -GFTIs. So if you want to get admission in National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya then have to participate in this seat allocation system.
• The student is required to get more than 75% marks in 12th class in Science.
• However candidates belonging to SC ST and PWD category can apply with 65% marks in 12th class.
• Candidates should achieve good rank in the JEE Mains and Advanced examination to be eligible for getting preferences in National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya UG Admission 2025.

NIT Meghalaya UG Admission Registration fees 

Candidates are required to pay the online registration fees for JoSAA while applying through online mode. Authority will charge total 35000 from candidate for the counselling charges which will include Application charges of JoSSA and seat confirmation charges. However if you belongs to SC, ST and PWD then you will required to pay 17500 through online mode on the official website while submitting the application form.

This fees is not refundable, however in different circumstances authority can refund the fees after detecting the portal charges of 5000 rupees to 7000 rupees according to the condition of the applicant.

The NIT Meghalaya UG Admission 2025 registration procedure will begin after releasing the result of JEE Advanced, so you can follow the following documents on the official website after declare in the result to opt for the preference of the colleges:

• First of all you need to visit on the official website of Joint Seat Allocation Authority.

• Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the apply online link and create your new registration.

• After creating the registration, you need to login on the dashboard and after that fill the application form including education qualification, address details, personal information of the applicant.
