Applications are invited from Indian Nationals holding Postgraduate Degree in Physics/Applied Physics for the post of Project Assistant in DST-SERB-ECR Project entitled “Fluid Dynamical Aspects in Nucleation of Laser Produced Nanoparticles in Liquids”. The project focuses onto the investigation of laser induced breakdown processes in liquids.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics) / M.Sc. (Applied Physics)

Number of Post: 01 (Project Assistant)

Age Limit: Not more than 28 years as on 1st August 2019. (Relaxation as per GOI norms)

Monthly Enumeration:Rs 16,000/- per month (As per norms)

Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year.

Future Prospects: Opportunities for enrolling in PhD subjected to NIT Meghalaya Eligibility Criteria.


General Terms and Conditions

The duration of the project is from October 2018-October 2021. The position is purely temporary and renewable based on yearly performance. No TA and DA to be provided for attending the interview.

Mere procession of degree does not guarantee selection. Performance in the interview followed by decision made by the interview panel is to be treated as final and no further communications in this regard shall be entertained.
