Semester Registration, Autumn 2019


This is to notify to all the students that Course Registration for Autumn Semester 2019 will have to be done at the Institute with your respective Faculty Advisors (FA) on 25th & 29th July, 2019 during 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (check e-notice board for the list of Faculty Advisors)


Registration fees are to be paid online before course registration, through SBI Collect Portals from 15th to 29th July, 2019.  Fee payment receipts will be verified by the FA for proceeding with the course registration. Fee Receipts along with the course registration Acknowledgement Form, duly signed by the FA and the students,  should be submitted at Academic Section, Room: 10, Deans’ Block after course registration. One copy of Hostel payment receipt is to be submitted to the care taker at the hostel without fail.

       Note:  All Hostellers/New Hostel Admission will have to pay hostel mess fee/ part of hostel fees through NIT Meghalaya Hostel Account. Hostellers will hence pay using both of the SBI Collect links given above.


  • Students availing Education Loan will have to inform the Bank beforehand. Only RTGS/NEFT transactions are allowed and DDs will not be accepted. Payments will have to be made by 29th July, 2019. Receipts are to be submitted without fail along with cover letter from the bank.

       NOTE: Students availing Education loan are directed to submit their loan details, mentioning interest subsidy, if availing, at Room: 10, Deans’ Block.

  • Last date for submission of payment receipts at the Institute is 29th of July, 2019 after which late registration fine of  Rs. 3,000/- only will be imposed from 30th July to 6th Aug’19. All registration will be closed after 6th Aug, unless prior approval of the Head of the Institute is taken and submitted to Academic Section beforehand.


Registration will be confirmed once payment has been confirmed by the bank.


  • As per the Hon. Supreme Court & UGC/MHRD Regulations, all students should compulsorily fill in an Anti Raging Undertaking each year.


To make the process easy MHRD has developed an online facility.
Undertaking should be filled ONLINE (OR) and printed copy to be submitted at NITM academic office along with payment receipts.



To complete course registration, a student has to:

(i.)  Make Fees Payments through online SBI portals.

(ii.) Complete Course Registration with Faculty Advisor by 29th July, 2019.



Submit payment receipts and anti-ragging undertaking at Room no-10 (Academic Office), Deans’ Block within 29th July, 2019.
