STEPS TO DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD

  • Please click on this link to download your admit card.
  • Please make sure to note down your Roll no. from the list provided in the screened-in candidates. You need to enter this roll no and your Date of Birth to download your Admit Card
  •  Please take a print out of the Admit Card.
  • A recent passport size photograph needs to be pasted in the “Paste recent passport size photo” section of the admit card and the candidate also needs to put in his/her signature inside the “signature” section provided in the admit card.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

  1. Please visit the Institute website: http://nitmeghalaya.in/nitmeghalaya/ regularly for any update on the subject matter.
  2. Candidates are to note that no separate call letter will be issued for the Written Test.
  3. Candidate shall bring duly filled in Admit Card with photograph pasted to be produced on the day of written test. Please ensure to bring the Admit Card to the Exam centre to obtain permission to appear in the Written Test.
  4. Candidate should paste one passport size photograph on the admit card and sign in the section provided in the admit card.
  5. Candidate must also carry their Original government issued Photo Identity Proof failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. The valid photo Identity proof are Voter ID card, Passport, PAN card, Driving License, Aadhar card, Govt. Issued ID card, Bank Passbook with Photo etc. The identity proof shall be shown to the invigilator at the time of signing the Attendance Sheet.
  6. Candidates are instructed to reach the venue well in time and to be seated soon after the examination rooms are opened.
  7. Candidate should sit only on the seat allocated as per seating plan and to sign on the Attendance Sheet against his/her Roll No. He/She shall also ensure that all the details like Booklet Series, Booklet No. and Answer Sheet No. recorded on the Attendance Sheet are correctly filled at the time of signing it.
  8. Candidates will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall 30 minutes after the start of the exam.
  9. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till examination time is over.
  10. The Question booklet and Answer Sheet shall be handed over to invigilator after completion of the examination. If candidate fails to handover the Question booklet and Answer Sheet to invigilator, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
  11. Calculator/Mobile phones or any other communication devices such as Bluetooth devices etc. will not be allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.
  12. Any candidate found using or in possession of unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will summarily be disqualified from the selection process
  13. Visually handicapped (VH) and Orthopaedically Handicapped (whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy) candidates are required to bring disability medical certificate with them for the examination. Such candidates have to arrange his/her own Scribe/Reader
  14. The candidate shall also bring along with him/her a written application for using a Scribe/Reader and the Scribe/Reader must also carry original photo identity card as identity proof.
  15. No TA/DA will be admissible to appear in the written test/typing test/interview.
  16. Call for written test/Interview does not guarantee appointment in the Institute.
  17. The results will be displayed on the Institute Notice Board and uploaded on the Institute website.
  18. No request for postponement of the written test or re-examination of answer scripts will be entertained.
  19. The Schedule of the Exam will remain unaltered even if the date of Exam is declared a public holiday.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED FOR PERSONAL INTERVIEW

  1. The candidates shortlisted for the interview have to produce all their certificates /proof of date of birth/caste certificate/experience certificate, etc. in original before the interview for verification. The candidate should also bring along with him/her a set of self-attested photocopies of the same.
  2. Candidates not producing the original certificate or providing false certificates shall not be permitted for interview.
  3. OBC candidates shortlisted for personal interview have to produce the latest OBC certificate which should not be older than 6 months from the date of interview. Candidates failing to produce the certificate as instructed will be summarily rejected and will not be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee.
  4. Candidates with qualifying marks in CGPA format shall have to bring along with them the conversion formula as per their Institute/ University rules for cross checking. Candidates failing to produce the conversion formula will be summarily rejected and will not be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee.
